Swedish Hydro Solutions and Clean Water Engineering join forces aiming for international expansion
Swedish Hydro Solutions AB (“Swedish Hydro Solutions/SweHydro”) and Clean Water Engineering AB (“CWE”) have today agreed to integrate the two companies through a friendly acquisition of CWE by Swedish Hydro Solutions.
The acquisition enables Swedish Hydro Solutions to expand operations and consolidate the position as Sweden’s leading company within the area of sustainable water treatment.
With award-winning technologies such as chitosan-based flocculation, BioMedia filtering of dissolved pollutants and RedOx3 for treating hexavalent chromium, Swedish Hydro Solutions offers one of the most sustainable and environmentally friendly water treatment methods in Europe. The ambition is to become Europe’s leading provider of water treatment solutions within a few years.
– Since 2016, there has been a major change in Sweden with professional mobile water treatment on site at many of the major infrastructure projects. Both Swedish Hydro Solutions and CWE have been important players delivering technical solutions to meet the tough environmental requirements now set by the authorities.
